Metalurg is the only football club from FYR Macedonia which will continue in the next qualifying round of Europa League, while the two other clubs, Shkendija and Turnovo remained out following defeats conceded last night on their return matches.
Shkendija lost to Zimbru of Moldova by 2 goals to nil in the return match. The players from Tetovo could not preserve the positive result and remained out of the competition on 3-2 aggregate result.
Turnova was defeated by the Georgian club Cikura 3 goals to 1 and also remained out of the competition.
As it was expected, Metalurg was the only one to qualify for the second round where it will face the Bosnian club, Zelesnicar. Last night, Metalurg won against Santa Koloma club from Andorra. /ibna/
