Euro 2016, Albania in Group A with France, Romania and Switzerland

The draw for the Euro 2016 finals was decided on Saturday in Paris. The 15th European championship will be played in France from June 10 until July 10.

Albania will play in Group A with the hosts, France, Romania and Switzerland. in the Football European Championship which will be played in France in 2016.

Our national team, led by Giovanni De Biasi, will play its first match on 11 June 2016 in Lens, in Bollaert-Delelis stadium, against Switzerland at 3 pm.

Albania will play its second match in Marseille on June 15 against France in Velodrome stadium at 9 pm. The third match will be played on 19 June in the Lyon stadium at 9 pm against the other Balkan team, Romania.

Albania’s history with the Group A teams is as follows:

It has played against France six times, 1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats. It has played France in the European Championship qualifiers and lost four times.

Two were friendly matches, where France played friendly fixtures with the Europe 2016 Group I teams. The Albanian national team grabbed one win and one draw.

With Romania, Albania has played 16 times, winning two times, drawing three times and losing 11 times.
