EULEX prosecutor, responsible for the inquiries into the allegations of the European Council report, John Clint Williamson, will stay in Kosovo today.
Prosecutor Williamson is finalizing investigations and his report about the claims of the report of senator Dick Marty, approved by the European Council in December 2010.
He’s expected to have a meeting today with acting prime minister, Hashim Thaci and discuss the offenses that are alleged in the Dick Marty’s report.
The Task Force report is expected to be published at the end of this month.
Williamson had also visited Kosovo in March of this year, at a time when Kosovo was discussing the establishment of the Special Court on Kosovo, which would investigate war crimes taken place from 1998-1999 and the alleged political crimes, threats and witness murders in 2000 and 2001.
Investigations on this case, which include the so called organ traffic supposedly carried out by the former National Liberation Army of Kosovo in at least two locations in Albania, Burrel and Fushe Kruje, has started in 2011.
Based on the documents exchanged between Kosovo and Brussels, the Special Investigation Task Force is considered to be an omnipotent force.
It will not be accountable before institutions of Kosovo, although under the resolution, it will be part of them. /ibna/
