European Union Mission for the rule of law in Kosovo, EULEX, will be extended for another two years, but its investigative body will not deliberate any new criminal cases.
European Union has extended the mandate of its mission for the rule of law and justice in Kosovo until June 2016.
In their declaration, European governments said that EULEX will start to have fewer executive powers in the justice sector.
They highlighted the fact that in the next two years, prosecutors are not planning to deliberate new cases.
EU officials also said that the size of the mission will be reduced to reflect the change of its activity in Kosovo. /ibna/
