While Albania is waiting on a decision by Germany regarding the opening of negotiations with the European Union, an MP of this important country of the EU is expected to visit the country tomorrow.
The MP in question is CSU’s lawmaker, Florian Hahn, who is also spokesperson of the European Union for Enlargement.
Hahn is expected to hold official meetings in Tirana with the Albanian president, Ilir Meta, PM Edi Rama, opposition leader Lulzim Basha and Parliamentary speaker, Gramoz Ruci.
His visit to Tirana comes a few days after the visit that PM Rama held in Germany, where he met Chancellor Angela Merkel and lobbied in order for Berlin to give the green light for the negotiations. /ibna/
