European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn has recommended the appointment of a parliamentary committee which will investigate into the eavesdropping affair, made public by the Macedonian opposition.
“This affair must be solved by responsible institutions, but if necessary, a parliamentary committee must be appointed in order to handle this issue. But this will depend on the presence of all political parliamentary parties”, declared Hahn.
Hahn called on all sides to solve this problem, while adding that those who possess these materials, must publish all of them.
“Those who have the materials must publish all of them and everyone is aware that this issue must go through the justice system. Its handling must be made based on European standards. This affair is a very serious issue”, declared EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, who last week stayed for a visit in Skopje, demanding for the political crisis in the country to be overcome. /ibna/
