The EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn has sent a letter to the four leaders of the main political parties in FYR Macedonia, expressing his concern for the failure of the June 2 agreement.
In the letter sent to Nikola Gruevski of VMRO-DPMNE, to Zoran Zaev of SDSM, Ali Mehmeti of BDI and Menduh Thaci of PDSH, Hahn says that the disputes that have risen in the talks for the solution for the political crisis are unacceptable.
According to Hahn, the country has been recommended for the launch of EU accession talks, if it fully implements the political agreement.
At the beginning of January 2016, EU commissioner Hahn is expected to arrive to Skopje, in order to broker a deal between the political leaders in order to deliver all the obligations of the political agreement.
The political crisis in the country has returned as political parties are unable to find an agreement on the reforms in the media, while the work of the parliamentary committee investigating the wiretapping affair has been blocked. /ibna/
