EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn will visit Skopje on 14 October, to assess the political developments, following the agreement reached between the four main political parties in the country. This visit was announced by the deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Arber Ademi, who stayed in Brussels yesterday.
According to him, the process of EU integration, the political developments, the electoral process and migration were some of the topics that were discussed in this meeting.
“The meeting discussed the need to deliver the necessary conditions for the holding of elections in December, as a positive step toward the solution of the political crisis in the country. It was stressed that it was very important that all political players offer their contribution for the continuation of the European integration process. The commissioner also stressed the need to offer adequate political and institutional support for the work of the Special Prosecution”, Ademi said. /balkaneu.com/
