A bold declaration has been made by the EU Special Representative to Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, who has called for a change of the political class in Kosovo.
Zbogar, who is ending his term in office, has demanded for “politicians involved in corruption affairs to leave”.
The EU official also referred to the registered conversations recently made public, which suggest the existence of corruption affairs.
“Kosovo must convince people that it really wants to fight corruption and this is more valid than ever now, after the wiretapping affair”, he declared.
Zbogar said that politics must be free of politicians who have been alleged of corruption affairs. According to him, this must be done to leave room for a clean political crisis.
“We must see politicians who are under investigation or who have been accused outside of politics. It would be best if we had politicians who are promoters of the fight against corruption”, Zbogar said in his message. /balkaneu.com/
