Negotiations are progressing well, estimated by the Commission’s deputy spokeswoman at the briefing today.
It is still possible a deal with Greece until August 20, rated at today’s briefing journalists spokeswoman commission Mina Andreeva.
According to Wednesday’s statements by the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, if the agreed upon are honored, the agreement is likely to be achieved on schedule, the spokesman reiterated.
Andreeva described the progress in the talks “satisfactory” and said that tomorrow afternoon is expected a conversation between senior officials of the Institutions, which will assess the situation in Greece.
Already, the draft memorandum that will accompany program of Greece is being written, Andreeva said, contradicting reports from Germany that speak of an agreement-bridge: “No one is better informed on the work of the technical cadres than us”, she stressed.
