«We will continue to mess with the plans in the Eastern Mediterranean”
After wrapping up the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed Turkey’s national security issues.
“Turkey will maintain a decisive stance and mess with the plans in the Eastern Mediterranean. Turkey draws its strength from determination and international law. It seems there is still distress regarding the Memorandum of Understanding on the demarcation of maritime areas that we signed with Libya. But the process has been completed. In fact, we have sent the memorandum over to the UN”, Erdogan stressed.
“We call on countries to immediately put an end to the inhumane treatment of refugees and to cease their inhumane and illegal activities”, he continued.
Erdogan called on the international community to support the legitimate Libyan government. /ibna
