Erdogan, Putin, Rouhani against separatism in Syria

After the tripartite summit between Turkey, Russia and Iran over the Syrian crisis that took place in Ankara, on Wednesday, the three leaders gave a joint presser, where they vowed to fight separatism and terrorism on Syrian ground.

For almost two hours, the presidents were discussing Syrian developments and their future stance behind closed doors.

In a statement issued afterwards, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vladimir Putin and Hassan Rouhani, said they “reject all attempts to create new realities on the ground under the pretext of combating terrorism” and “expressed their determination to stand against separatist agendas aimed at undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria as well as the national security of neighboring countries.”…. / IBNA
