Emigrants of Kosovo in Hungary live under miserable conditions

Pristina, July 22, 2013

Emigrants from Kosovo who are being kept in the prisons and camps of Hungary continue to be abused with and their situation continues to be alarming.

A citizen from Prizren, who is staying in a camp in the border with Romania has called upon the state of Kosovo to help them.

“We’re constantly being maltreated here. Meanwhile, I don’t know anything about the fate of several of my friends who arrived along with me in Hungary”, said Halit Jonuzaj, who was caught in Hungary as he was emigrating illegally.

All the citizens of Kosovo who are being kept in the prisons and camps of Hungary and France must still wait until a solution for them is given and then return to their homes.

Around 5400 Kosovo citizens have illegally entered Hungary and out of 1 100 of them, 250 stay in prisons whereas the others in free refugee camps. /ibna/
