EMCDAA: Albanians play a key role in the distribution of cocaine in Europe
The European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction has published its recent report on changes in the cocaine market in Europe

The report points out the growing role of cartels from the Balkans in the transport of cocaine from South America to Europe.

Meanwhile, as far as Albanian couriers are concerned, the report states that they’re part of the innovative cocaine distribution system called “call center”. The report also notes that gangs from the Balkans have turned into modern and dynamic criminal rings and that they’re in charge of the transport, funding and distribution of large quantities of cocaine from South America to Europe.  /ibna/
