The Bank of Greece has announced that the European Central Bank has reduced the ELA (Emergency liquidity assistance) for Greek banks by 300 million euros.

The reduction came at the request of the Bank of Greece itself, which considers that the liquidity of Greek banks has greatly improved.

Additionally, business accounts appear to have increased by 1.6 billion euros, while private accounts by 1.31 billion euros –the first increase since November 2014.
