The First Delphi Economic Forum will be held at the European Cultural Centre of Delphi, from Thursday until Sunday, February 15-28, 2016, and will be under the patronage of the Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
In the Forum will participate representatives of the World Bank, the German Marshall Fund, Stratfor, Rand Corporation, Eurasia Group, Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, London School of Economics, Konrad Adenauer Foundation etc.
Also invited are Declan Costello, Director of Economic Relations of the European Commission and Deborah Wince-Smith, President & CEO, US Council on Competitiveness.
Among the Greeks to participate are Loukas Papademos, vice president of the Athens Academy, Dimitris Avramopoulos, Commissioner for Migration, Panagiotis Pikrammenos, former interim Prime Minister of Greece, Ioannis Amanatidis, Deputy Foreign Minister and others.
The aim of the conference is the submission of proposals and the development of long-term strategic objectives to be set by the country and the region in order to cope with future challenges.
