
Albanians are among the biggest users of the euro in the Balkans. This is confirmed by the latest figures of the European Central Bank, according to which, 43.2% of Albanians prefer to have their savings in euros.
In this aspect, they are only left behind by the Serbs, who keep 64.2% of their savings in euros.
Although interest rates in euros are low, Albanians continue to keep their savings in euros.
Meanwhile, euro is less dominant in the savings of Macedonians (36.8%), Bosnians (35.3%) and Turkish (16.25%). /ibna/
