At a time when negotiations between Greece and partners continue to be at a stalemate, the ECB decided to blow new breath to greek banks after last week’s increase in deposits outflow.
Frankfurt decided to increase the ELA by EUR 2.3 bn, with the new limit now forming from EUR 80.7 billion to EUR 83 billion.
With this new development the liquidity cushion for the greek banking system stands at EUR 3 billion.
