While today marks the third day of the opposition protest in a tent in front of the Council of Minister’s building, democrats are more determined on what they seek. This was said today by the democrat MP, Aldo Bumci.
Bumci said that the only response that protesters and opposition expect from PM Edi Rama is the technical government, which would give way to free and fair elections. He launched an invitation for the speaker of parliament, Ilir Meta and every other parliamentary players.
“We convey our messages through the protest. The one that was held on Saturday was the biggest ever. It was a double message. This protest aimed at sending a message to the government that enough is enough. The international community has issued its signals. They have told the government to fight narcotics, but a few days ago, 8 tons of drugs went through the port of Durres. Chancellor Merkel told the Prime Minister to fight drugs and hold free and honest elections. There’s no turning back for us. We also send a message to all parliamentary parties. The first one we launch it for PM Edi Rama. The second call is for Ilir Meta. The free elections are unavoidable. We call on every political force, Mr. Blushi, PDIU, that there is no other way out, but for Rama to leave”, Bumci said. /balkaneu.com/
