The Slovenian Government Communication Office announced that on Sunday, May 6, the president of the European Council, Donald Tusk will be in Slovenia on a two-day working visit at the invitation of outgoing Prime Minister Miro Cerar.
Before Slovenia, Tusk has been on a tour of the Western Balkans with stops in Tirana, Podgorica, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Skopje. In the fYROMacedonian capital he participated in a summit of the Brdo-Brijuni process of regional co-operation, “which has been initiated by Slovenia and Croatia”, STA reminds.
“Tusk is due in Slovenia only days after the European Commission holds an oral hearing in a procedure launched by Slovenia against Croatia over its refusal to implement the border arbitration decision”, STA reports.
Last time Tusk visited the country was in April 2017 at the Slovenian premier Cerar’s invitation…. / IBNA
