Domestic and international institutions in Kosovo have held a joint meeting to discuss on a strategic plan for the June 11 elections.
According to a statement released by Kosovo Police, this meeting was called by Police Commissioner, Shpend Maxhuni. Present in this meeting were the chair of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka, Laura Pula of the State Prosecution, Jan Braathu, head of OSCE, representatives from KFOR and EULEX for the monitoring of elections in Kosovo.
Police Commissioner, Shpend Maxhini said that the holding of a normal electoral process is a priority for Kosovo Police.
Meanwhile, participants also discussed the incentive of convicting any offense which threatens the right of vote.
The meeting also discussed the fact that there will be full mobilization throughout the whole of the territory of Kosovo, including the north, in order to offer security and enable all citizens to vote freely.
In the meantime, political parties and coalitions have continued their election campaign throughout the country, promising that Kosovo will become a developed economy and that new jobs will be opened. /balkaneu.com/
