The head of the Office for Kosovo at the Serb government, Marko Djuric is staying today for a visit in northern Mitrovica.
During his stay in Kosovo, Djuric huas also commented on the first parliamentary session of Kosovo, by saying that the vote of the Serb community is showing their political power.
He said that the presence of “Serb List” in the parliament of Kosovo, Belgrade’s influence on Kosovar institutions is growing.
Djuric said that Serb MPs are not interested as to which Albanian parties will govern, but according to him, what counts is for them to defend the interests of the members of the Serb community in Kosovo.
“We’re not interested to know who will govern Kosovo. For us it’s more important for our people to have a more crucial role in political developments, which shows that they now have a greater role in the governing of the country than before”, declared Djuric, who today also had a meeting with the head of UNO office in Kosovo, Farid Zarif. /ibna/
