Dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia will continue today in Brussels.

The first day mainly discussed the implementation of several agreements reached before, while today the sides will discuss the issue of the country’s telephone code.

The head of the delegation, Edita Tahiri declared that first of all, Serbia’s parallel structures in Kosovo must be removed in order to continue with the establishment of the Association of Serb Communes.

She also said that Serbia must lift its blockade for Kosovo’s telephone code and for the independent distribution of energy to start as soon as possible.

Marko Djuric, head of the Kosovo’s office in the Serb government, said that the fact that the association is not being established, is unjustifiable for Serbia.

He said that the sides have also discussed the registration of Serb companies in the domain of telecommunication in Kosovo and the implications that the lifting of visas will have for Kosovo citizens with Serb passports.

The EU doesn’t conceal its discontent about the failure to implement a number of agreements that have been reached, but it doesn’t want to become part of the game that Belgrade and Pristina are playing by blaming each other.

EU officials say that they have expressed their discontent to the sides in the meetings that have been held and also during the last visit that the EU head of diplomacy, Federica Mogherini had in Pristina. /balkaneu.com/
