Deputy speaker of the European Parliament and rapporteur on Kosovo, Ulrike Lunacek says that implementation of the agreements that have been reached between Belgrade and Pristina must be a priority of the new phase of dialogue.
“We still must wait to see what the results will be of this dialogue. The sides must focus on fully implementing their agreements, as both sides have agreed on matters such as energy and freedom of movement. Each side must work for the implementation of these agreements and not wait on the other side”, Lunacek said.
Meanwhile, Lunacek also says that the Brussels’ dialogue will continue to be difficult due to the lack of mutual trust and problems with the agreements that have been reached so far. The EP official also said that the new government of Kosovo which is expected to be formed, must have a constructive approach and be fully committed for dialogue. /balkaneu.com/
