In a news conference delivered on Sunday, Self Determination has reminded to PM Mustafa and his deputy, Thaci, that the government has two days to meet the demands of protesters.

The head of “Self Determination” parliamentary group, Visar Ymeri  talked about the alternatives, which according to him, the government has.

“Isa Mustafa and Hashim Thaci have two alternatives: They can either face Serbia or face united citizens in the protest”, said Ymeri in the conference.

Along with AAK and Incentive, Self Determination has announced a protest on Wednesday in Pristina, a protest which will demand the removal of minister Jablanovic and for Trepca’s industrial complex to turn into a public enterprise.

The protest held on Tuesday ended with violence, while police accused the secretary of Self Determination, Dardan Molliqaj of escalating the situation, when he demanded police to remove the barricades that it had placed within 15 minutes.

On the other hand, protesters blamed police for provoking the situation on the day of the protest.

In the news conference, Self Determination demanded from police to announce the names of the arrested people and the reasons why they are being detained. This movement said that at least 29 people who participated on Tuesday’s protest, have been remanded into custody for a period of 30 days.

Visar Ymeri declared that the government is scared of the protests.

“The government is in panic and scared and now, we have a situation where the intimidated are intimidating the citizens”, said Ymeri. /ibna/
