Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic has visited the Patriarchate of Pec, the Church of Prizren and the monastery of Gracanica during his visit to Kosovo.

After meeting religious leaders, he said that Serbia has achieved its biggest victory by preventing Kosovo’s accession in the UNESCO.

“Prevention of Kosovo’s accession in the UNESCO is not sufficient. There will also be other attempts to adhere in this organization and it will be difficult to prevent it. But we must work in order for Serb cultural heritage not to become Albanian”, Dacic said.

Dacic has called on Serb scientists and academics in Kosovo to do everything possible in order to “keep the Serb heritage in Kosovo and Metohija alive”.

“We must all contribute in order for this heritage to remain Serb, as it has traditionally been”, Dacic said.

On Sunday (10,04) the Serb minister has also met several Serb citizens the majority of whom have been supporters of the party that he was part of. /ibna/
