Cyprus University of Technology enhances cooperation with Universities in Estonia and Russia

The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), the Interaction Design Lab of Tallinn University in Estonia and the Department of Computer Graphics Design and  Design of ITMO University in Russia will further strengthen their cooperation in the fields of human-computer interaction, Interaction Design and Technology Assisted Learning.

A press release issued on Thursday by CUT says that the University offers an online  program in Interaction Design (MSc in Interaction Design, http://idmaster.eu) in English language together with the University of Tallinn. The course will be now offered by the three countries on graduate level.

As part of the cooperation, there will be exchange of staff exchanges and students and mutual participation in research programs and publications.

The research laboratories of the three universities recently participated in the summer school “Human Computer Interaction”, held in Croatia. The Interaction Lab was represented by its Director, Professor Panagiotis Zafiris.

Professor Zafiris said that cooperation gives the opportunity to the Interaction Design Master Program to get promoted in the Russian market and to build strong partnerships with well-known research groups.
