The President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades is departing tomorrow morning, July 14, for Athens, where he will have a meeting with the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Tomorrow morning, the President of the Republic of Cyprus will meet at the Presidential Palace, with President Sakellaropoulou, at their first meeting since taking office as the new President of the Hellenic Republic.
Afterwards, President Anastasiades will have a meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the Maximos Mansion, with whom he will attend talks, in the presence of the delegations of the two countries.
Among the topics that will be discussed are the Turkish provocations towards the two countries and their sovereign rights and the Turkish provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean, more broadly, the Euro-Turkish relations, the Greek-Cypriot bilateral relations, while there will be coordination in view of the European Council meeting to be held on 17 and 18 July in Brussels.
In the afternoon, the President of the Republic will receive the President of SYRIZA, leader of the main opposition, Alexis Tsipras.
During his meetings in Athens, the President of the Republic will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides, Government Spokesman Kyriakos Kousios, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece Kyriakos Kenevezos and the Director of the Presidential Diplomatic Office Kyriakos Kouros.
