In November 2017, the Harmonized Price Index increased by 0.2% when compared to November 2016, while compared to October of 2017 decreased by 1.2%. For the period January-November 2017 the HICP recorded an increase of 0.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Compared to November 2016, the category Transport (2.6%) had the largest positive change while Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco (-3.2%) had the largest negative change.
In comparison to HICP of October 2017, the largest decrease was recorded in Restaurant and Hotels (-6.3%).
For the period January-November 2017, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the largest change was noted in Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels (6.5%).
As regards to the economic origin, the largest change was observed in Energy with an increase of 3.7% when compared to the index of November 2016./IBNA
