The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus has issued a statement in which it strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Saint Petersburg, which took place on 27 December 2017.
“We firmly believe that no attack against civilians can remain unpunished. It is the responsibility of the international community to cooperate against this common threat, so that all perpetrators of such crimes can be brought to justice. Terror, in any form, will not be tolerated”, the statement reads.
The FM concludes by expressing the sympathy of the Republic of Cyprus to the wounded individuals and their families and reaffirmed its solidarity to the people and the government of the Russian Federation./IBNA
