Cyprus deplores terrorists attacks in Egypt and Tunisia

Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued on Thursday two press releases deploring the terrorists attacks in Egypt and Tunisia on Tuesday, November 24.

The attack in Egypt took place in a hotel in the city of el-Arish in the Sinai province killing four innocent people and wounding twelve.

“The government and the Cypriot people would like to express their sincere condolences and the undivided sympathy to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Egypt,” a press release issued by the MFA writes.

The attack in Tunis killed twelve members of the Tunisia`s presidential guard.

“We would like to express our sincere condolences in the government and the people of Tunisia. The Cypriot government continues to support the efforts of Tunisia for a democratic transition, including the reform in the field of security,” the Ministry notes.
