The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides will meet on Monday, November 23, 2020 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Slovakia Ivan Korčok, who arrived in Cyprus on Sunday afternoon for a working visit.
Christodoulides and Korčok will have a private meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after which they will attend an extended consultation with the participation of official delegations. In the framework of the consultations, it is expected to review the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Slovakia, and to exchange views, among others, on the Cyprus issue and the latest provocative actions of Turkey in relation to Famagusta. The situation in the Eastern Mediterranean in the light of Turkey’s ongoing legal actions, current issues on the European Union agenda including Enlargement, Immigration, Euro-Turkish relations and the debate on the Future of Europe, as well as regional and international issues of common interest, will also be discussed
