Cyprus to be affected by Lufthansa strike

A strike by Lufthansa’s pilots` union will affect Cyprus’ Larnaca international airport causing disruptions to flights from and to Frankfurt and Munich airports.

Hermes Airports spokesman, Adamos Aspris, said that the eight flights, of which four are departures and four arrivals, were scheduled between the early hours of Wednesday, April 2 and Friday afternoon, April 4.

The German company is already informing its passengers, the spokesman said. The strike is expected to affect a total of 425.000 Lufthansa passengers, according to reports from German media.
