Croatia will offer its support for the integration of Albania in the European Union. This was announced by the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marija Pejcinovic Buric, who is holding an official visit to Tirana.
“We’re Albania’s friends and allies. Albania has made lots of progress in the past two years. We will support the start of accession talks”, Buric said in a press conference with her Albanian counterpart, Ditmir Bushati.
Meanwhile, Buric said that the relations between the two countries are excellent. “Bushati will hold a visit to Croatia next month. We’re excellent partners and our cooperation is successful”, the minister said.
Meanwhile, on his part, the Albanian head of diplomacy said that the relations with Croatia will further improve, while announcing that an agreement was signed in the domain of environment. /balkaneu.com/
