On Friday at 13:00 in Nyon the play-off’s draw for entry into the Europa League group will take place and after the last match of the 3rd round of qualifications we now all the clubs that will be in the draw. Dinamo is the only Croatian club in the strong group, while Hajduk, Split and Rijeka will have a harder time.
With Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk, Split and Rijeka Croatia for the first time in history has four clubs in the playoffs stage of UEFA’s second best competition in strength and prestige.
Dinamo was knocked out in the fight for the Champions League with a defeat at “Maksimir” from Aalborg 0:2.
Split with a 2:0 win at home and 0:0 draw away with Chornomorets won its first participation in the playoffs of the Europa League.
With a great 3:0 win in Split, Hajduk overcame the two goal disadvantage from the forst match against Shakhtar Karagandyja, while Rijeka had already ensured passage to the next round in the first game against Vikingur.
