Review by Christos T. Panagopoulos –
Croatia will once again participate in one of the most important tourism and travel fairs in the world. The “World Travel Market”, held in London from the 4th till the 7th of November, will include an exhibition stand from the Croatian Tourist Board.
The UK market is especially important to Dubrovnik, with Brits making up the largest number of tourist arrivals and overnight stays in the city. In figures released by the Croatian Tourist Board the number of British tourists increased by a massive 25 percent in 2013 compared to last year.
Croatian Minister of Tourism, Darko Lorencin, and the head of the national tourist board, Meri Matesic, will both attend the travel fair and will jointly hold a press conference in London on the 4th of November.
