Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that Montenegro is open to American investors and the innovations they bring, calling on them to invest in Montenegro.
“Montenegro is a country with huge potential and there is no doubt that we will be a magnet for attracting foreign investors in the foreseeable future,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Today, Abazović met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham Montenegro); President Nikola Tripković, Executive Director Marko Miročević and Policy Manager Ana-Marija Kaluđerović.
Abazović expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the AmCham Montenegro representatives, emphasizing the importance that their association has in improving the business environment.
Abazović stressed that AmCham and the United States have a reliable partner in the Government of Montenegro and him personally.
“The representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce expressed a desire for even more intensive and open cooperation with the Government of Montenegro. They briefed Vice President Abazović on the activities of their business association in the previous period, with the aim of improving the business environment and attracting American and other investors to Montenegro. The Montenegro AmCham representatives pointed out that they are continuously working to improve the business climate by fostering a partnership with the Government of Montenegro, in order to attract new investors and encourage economic and overall development in our country,” the Montenegrin government stated after the meeting.
Abazović and the representatives of AmCham Montenegro also talked about the “Partnership for a Better Business Environment” Program, launched in 2017. They agreed that it is necessary to actively work on creating a business environment based on the rule of law, in order to strengthen the security of capital and attract as many reputable investors from the United States and Western European countries as possible. /ibna
