Prime minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has reiterated his stance that the solution of the crisis must be in line with the result of the June 8 election and the ruling of the Constitutional Court.
After the 13th symposium of the European Cultural Parliament, Thaci said that he invites all leaders to find good will in order to sit down and discuss a solution in the best interest of the citizens.
“The solution must be in line with the June 8 elections and the Constitutional Court. Today, I’d like to invite all political leaders to find their good will in order to sit down and discuss a solution which would be in the best interest of the citizens, which guarantees a stable and efficient government”, said Thaci.
According to him, the political crisis cannot be overcome only through free will.
“I invite political leaders to meet in order for us to find a solution, because if there is no communication, there is no agreement”, said Thaci.
Thaci said that Kosovo has seen unpleasant events in the past too, but it has always known how to find a solution for the country and society.
Asked as to what concessions they would make to come to an agreement with the opposition bloc, he said that PDK is willing to meet leaders of other political parties.
“It would be best to have the support of the international community, but we also encourage the president to continue and facilitate this process with the meetings that she’s holding in her office”, said Thaci. /ibna/
