Court rejects Gruevski’s request to return his passport

Court of Skopje has rejected the request of the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski to return his passport.

“The Court of First Instance deemed the motion filed by Nikola Gruevski as baseless, therefore rejects it”, the court said, stating that Gruevski’s passport will continue to remain under the custody of the authorities.

Meanwhile, on 3 July,  upon the request of the Special Prosecution, Court of First Instance in Skopje decided to seize Gruevski’s passport, as he is a suspect in the “Titanic” case for illegal funding of his party, VMRO-DPMNE and also funding election campaigns, by causing the state budget millions of euros worth of damage. /balkaneu.com/
