The Court of Appeal has rejected the motion filed by the Special Prosecution on the “Titanik” case, where leader of VMRO-DPMNE and former PM Nikola Gruevski is among the defendants. The Special Prosecution had requested for Gruevski and his collaborators to be remanded into custody, but this motion had been rejected by the second instance court.
Among the defendants are also former Minister of Interior, Gordana Jankulovska and former ministers and former officials Mile Janakieski, Cyrill Bozinovski and Martin Protuger.
These people have been accused as part of the “Titanik” case and they are suspected of misuse of public funds during the election campaign and electoral violations. The investigations have taken place as part of the wiretapping scandal. /IBNA
