The contest between Kosovo and Serbia could be solved based on the Nordic model, which focuses on issues that improve the livelihood of the respective people in the future.
This was declared today in Belgrade by the Prime Minister of Norway, Erne Solberg.
Solberg declared that Kosovo and Serbia would benefit a great deal by normalizing their relations.
“Serbia and Kosovo would benefit a great deal by normalizing their relations. The Serb president Vucic has taken a bold and wise decision of launching a domestic dialogue on the issue of Kosovo. The current situation causes destabilization in the region”, Solberg said.
Asked about her proposal, she said that: “It’s often said that mutual trust is the secret to the success achieved by Nordic countries. This is true, but this trust has been built thanks to cooperation in the past”. /ibna/
