According to the Consumer Health Index measured by Health Consumer Powerhouse, Albania ranks 27th among 35 European countries, marking an improvement of 5 positions compared to last year.
So, the report says that Albania has scored 596 points thanks to the good level of access into services.
Meanwhile, the country has scored a lower result in the prevention of illnesses with 65 points, pharmaceutical products with 33 points and the type of access to services with only 42 points, ranking the country last in Europe.
Along with Bulgaria and Romania, Albania ranks among the three countries of Eastern Europe which are still suffering the consequences of an old healthcare system. /balkaneu.com/
