The reform in the judiciary system, the implementation of which will lead to amendments in the Constitution, must make the political class aware about deep changes in the state’s fundamental laws.
For the leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, the Constitution needs changes, as according to him, it must uphold the rights of individuals.
Mediu stopped on the proposals that republicans have made for the improvement of the electoral reform.
According to him, it’s vital for Albania to guarantee free elections and respect the free vote.
Mediu is in favor of an electoral system that will guarantee the election of MPs based on what they offer to voters and for those MPs who change political camps, to lose their mandate as they breach the trust given by voters. /balkaneu.com/
