Albanian opposition is preparing for the June 2017 elections, warning that it is working very hard in order for the next elections to be strictly monitored by the international community.

Leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha believes that the only hope that PM Edi Rama has to hold to power after the 2017 elections is their rigging.

In meetings with residents in the north of Albania during the weekend, Mr. Basha announced the opposition’s plan.

“The coming elections will be subject to the most strict international monitoring measures since 1991, because the world has realized what sort of oligarchs these are and that his last hope is to rig the elections. Therefore, along with our international partners, we will take all measures in order for these elections not to be rigged”, said Basha in a meeting with citizens of Miredita. /balkeneu.com/
