Kosovo Security Forces Minister (KSF), Haki Demolli received today in a meeting the British ambassador to Pristina, Ian Cliff.

Minister Demolli informed ambassador Cliff on the situation with KSF and some of their plans for their development in the future.

Minister Demolli also expressed his gratitude about the development, achievements and results of KSF, which can also be attributed to the bilateral cooperation between KSF ministry and British Defence Ministry.

Ambassador Ian Cliff said that KSF has achieved excellent results in the development of capacities and the recruitment of women and minorities.

“We’re happy that so far, we have carried out a number of activities in the framework of the cooperation agreement and we have managed to back the ministry and Security Force in many domains such as advising, schooling, trainings and other domains”, said he.

Minister Demolli and ambassador Cliff confirmed that cooperation of both countries in the military domain will continue in the future.

This is the first visit of ambassador Ian Cliff at the KSF ministry, since minister Haki Demolli took office.

Ambassador Ian Cliff also had a meeting with KSF commander, general lieutenant, Kadri Kastrati, where the two interlocutors talked about cooperation in concrete domains between KSF and United Kingdom’s army. /ibna/
