Ambassador of Great Britain in Pristina, Ian Cliff declared that it’s the prerogative of political parties to discuss the creation of the governing coalition.
In a meeting with mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri, Cliff said that the British embassy doesn’t comment the post election coalition between LDK, AAK and Incentive.
“Kosovar political parties can hold talks, but this is not our problem, because we don’t want to intervene in this process”.
Meanwhile, Haziri said that coalition political parties have agreed and signed the agreement, without the intermediacy of the international factor.
“We didn’t need international intermediacy in spite of the great role that the international factor has played. The agreement has been made in respect of the constitutional right. This time, LDK has made an offer to take Kosovo out of the crisis, while this party has made painful compromises for 15 years”, said Haziri.
During this meeting, Cliff and mayor of Gjilan have talked about projects which mainly concern the economic development of the region. /ibna/
