Citizens of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia have the lowest salaries in all of Europe. This was identified by a recent report on the level of salaries in European countries. The report includes not only the 28 member countries of the EU, but also other countries outside of it.
The report states that the country that has the highest average salary in Europe is Liechtenstein with around 5300 euros.
Meanwhile, the country with the lowest average salary is FYROM with around 354 euros.
In the Balkan region, Slovenians are the highest paid with 1030 euros.
On a national level, the Swiss come second with nearly 4 thousand euros and then Monaco with 3500 euros. Norway and Luxembourg have an average salary of a little more than 3 thousand euros a month. /balkaneu.com/
