The chairman of the Governing Board of Hypo Alpe – Adria Bank Banja Luka, Dragan Kovacevic, and the representative of the Organizing Committee of the International basketball camp “Hypo three points”, Željko Krunic, signed an agreement on the general sponsorship of the 15th International basketball camp that will be held at Jahorina, organized by the Basketball Club “Partizan RS” Banja Luka, on Thursday in Banja Luka
The agreement was signed on Thursday and, at the press conference, Kovacevic said that the bank supports the camp for the last 14 consecutive years.
“We have build a nice tradition, because all of us know how important is the role of the camp in the development of talent among young players. The camp has a quality program with the youngest players, managed by professional staff, and the conditions for the children to remain at the highest level”, Kovacevic emphasized.
He added that Bank business philosophy of direct, simple and affordable banking was built in cooperation with the community, and this is one of the examples. Kovacevic reminded that this Bank, as one of the strongest capital of banks on the local market, confirms the role of a socially responsible partner of the local community and its citizens.
The representative of the Organizing Committee of the Camp “Hypo three points”, Zeljko Krunic said that the camp will take place from June 27 to August 8, and expected participation of more than 400 children from BiH and the region in five eight-day groups.
“The camp is for young talents 6 to 16 years old, and we have applications from all countries in the Balkans, Belgium, France, Russia, Turkey and many other states. In the last 14 years, more than 8,000 children had the chance to be part of the camp, Krunic said.
He stressed that, without the support of Hypo Bank, the camp would not have survived all these years.
This year’s official promoter of the basketball camp “Hypo three points” is the celebrated basketball star Zoran Sretenović.
With the basketball club “Jugoplastika” he won three consecutive European championships, while with the national team he won two European gold medals. He defended the colors of the Belgrade basketball clubs “Red Star” and “Partizan”.
