Vice speaker of the parliament of Montenegro, Sulo Mustafic opened today in Milocer the Cetina Parliamentary Forum, which discussed the controlling role of parliament in the sector of defense and security.
At the opening of the forum, Mustafic said that the constant parliamentary oversight is the best way to revive democratic society.
Parliament of Montenegro in cooperation with the center for security, development and rule of law are the hosts of this Forum, which will welcome 50 parliamentarians from the region.
“Parliamentary forum of Cetina presents the regional incentive of cooperation of the parliaments of southeastern European countries in their path toward European integration and it’s an important form of the advancement and promotion of parliamentary dialogue between the states of the region”, states the press release of the Parliament.
The scope of this parliamentary forum, which is held today and tomorrow in Budva is to advance cooperation, exchange experiences and knowledge and to boost up parliamentary and diplomatic cooperation in the region. /ibna/
