Center for Openness and Dialogue opens at the Albanian government building

Tirana, 10 July 2015/Independent Balkan News Agency

Albanian PM, Edi Rama has decided to open a part of the building and external premises of the government building for the public by creating COD (Center for Openness and Dialogue).

COD has been located in the first floor of the government’s building. Meanwhile,  the surrounding green environment, has started to be used by the public with events, concerts and different cultural activities.

PM Rama is very fond of the opening of COD. He says that: “COD consists on the transformation of the first floor of the government building, from a dark corridor with offices suffocating from humidity and government archives, into a space which will belong to the public, artists, publishers, researches, students and pupils and all of those who want to openly face the government with arguments and protests”.

In the video clip that IBNA brings you below, Rama has identified what he considers “a transformation of a space degraded by the years into a space of communication and colorful interaction between politics, art, culture, city and the world”. /ibna/
